Job Description:
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: The FMR India Associate is responsible for accurate and timely processing of requests for review of recorded phone calls, documenting the English conversation using verbatim and summary transcription procedures. Call transcription information is used as a basis for analysis, error determination, and account/plan financial adjustments regarding Participant and Client disputes, and said transcription documentation is protected as 'Fidelity Internal' information.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Using verbatim call transcription procedures, the FMR India Associate is restricted to typing word-for-word the record phone conversations. However, as the FMR India Associate advances to summary call transcription, said Associate will make the decision regarding which portions of the recorded phone conversation pertain to the specific Client/Customer dispute at hand
Desired Profile:
Education and Experience
oBSc or BA preferred
oCustomer service orientation
oFluent in English language
o6 to 17 months inbound call centre experience, call transcription experience (preferred)
Skills/Knowledge
oAbility to build and maintain good working relationships
oAbility to change shifts as business requirements demand
oAbility to learn multiple outsourcing product lines
oAdaptability to change
oAttention to detail and accuracy
oExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
oExcellent typing skills, 60 words per minute with 99% accuracy
oExcellent writing skills within the English language, demonstrating the ability to construct effective messages using proper sentence structure and grammar
oMotivated, goal-oriented individual who utilizes time effectively and shows promise of being able to work independently
oProficient with basic computer applications, and keyboard navigational skills
oStrong analytical and problem resolution skills
