*Wherever CGPA or CPI in a degree is awarded, equivalent percentage marks should be indicated in the application (as per norms adopted by the University / Institute).

Note: Students appearing in their final exams are also eligible to apply . However, they should score minimum percentage of marks as specified in the eligibility criteria . Successful candidates will be inducted in batches beginning July 2008.

FOR POSITION M01, ONLY THOSE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE PASSED OUT IN 2007 OR PASSING OUT IN MID 2008 ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.

STEPS FOR APPLYING
STEP 1: Candidates belonging to General category and OBC category are required to pay examination fee of Rs.300/-in the form of Demand Draft (DD). The DD is non refundable and should be drawn in favor of "Engineers India Limited", payable at New Delhi.

STEP 2: Applications should be made online in the format available on our website.

STEP 3: Read CAREFULLY all the instructions given on the website.

STEP 4: Fill in the online form with all the relevant details along with the DD details.

STEP 5: After clicking on REGISTER, the applicants shall take a printout of the application and send the same after pasting photograph in the space allotted, along with the enclosures specified in the general instructions, to the specified address.

General Instructions

1. Written Test is likely to be conducted in the first week of April 2008 (tentative).
2. Online submission of application will be permitted on the website between 00.00 hrs on 30.01.2008 till 24.00 hrs on 23.02.2008.
3. Hardcopy of application complete in all respects, must reach "The General Manager (Personnel), Engineers India Limited, 1, Bhikaiji Cama Place, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066".
4. The print out of application form along with the enclosures should reach us on or before 03.03.2008.
5. Applications other than the print out from our website will be rejected.
6. Candidates should have a valid e-mail address specified in the application and should be functional for at least one year from the date of the submission of application.
7. Please mention your name, address and registration number on the reverse of the DD.
8. The envelope should be superscribed with "APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF MANAGEMENT TRAINEE". The opted test centre with code and discipline should also be mentioned at the top left hand corner of the envelope.
9. Candidates should retain a photocopy of their Demand Draft and copy of application form to be submitted for future reference.
10. Only those who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria need apply. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, he/she will be disqualified.
11. The number of vacancies are not fixed and varies with the requirement
12. Application form should be sent alongwith the following enclosures:
a. Demand Draft for the examination fee for Rs.300/- (applicable to General & OBC categories).
b. Attested copy of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC (non creamy layer)/PD certificate, if applicable.

13. Candidate should take special care NOT to staple the DD. They should use steel pins for fastening all documents / demand drafts. Demand drafts payable at locations other than New Delhi will not be accepted. Money Order/Postal Order or any other mode of payment is not acceptable.
