SPECIAL DRIVE FOR RECRUITMENT OF SC/ST

Applications are invited from the eligible Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Candidates for the following posts:

Junior Technician: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Diploma in Computer Science/ME/ EE/ ECE/ Catering Technology with knowledge of computer applications.

Pay Scale: Rs.3200-85-4900

General Information:
a) For application forms, please address the Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai - 600 036 with a self addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope (26cm x 11cm). The cover must be superscribed "Requisition for Application Form for the post of _______________". This application form may also be downloaded in the website www.iitm.ac.in under the link Administrative Positions.

b) The prescribed qualifications are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him / her to be called for Interview.

c) The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in this advertisement.

d) The Institute also reserves the right of rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons therefore.

e) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
f) Persons in the services of Universities, Government Establishments and Public Sector Undertakings with relevant experience should apply through proper channel.
g) Applications should be submitted in the prescribed format. Candidates should enclose attested copies of certificates, in support of age, community (in the prescribed format of the concerned State Govt.), educational qualifications, experience etc. along with the filled in original application.
h) No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conducting test and result of interview and reasons for not being called for test and interview.
